Our client specialises in data-intelligence, data-driven technology solutions for businesses, and process optimisation, Within the life sciences sector. They are looking to add to their team and require an Automation Engineer.

What you'll do:
  • Design, develop, and commission automation systems using Siemens PLCs (S7, TIA Portal) and SCADA platforms.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement Electronic Batch Records (EBR) in alignment with GMP and regulatory requirements.
  • Lead the integration and configuration of OSIsoft PI Historian for real-time data acquisition and analysis.
  • Support the deployment of new automation technologies and digital transformation initiatives across the facility.
  • Troubleshoot and optimize automation systems to ensure high availability and performance.
What you'll need:
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Automation, or related field.
  • Requires extensive experience in automation engineering within a GMP-regulated manufacturing environment.
  • Proven expertise with Siemens automation platforms (e.g., S7-300/400/1500, TIA Portal, WinCC).
  • Hands-on experience with EBR systems (e.g., Werum PAS-X, Emerson Syncade, or similar).
  • Strong knowledge of OSIsoft PI System (installation, configuration, asset framework).
  • Familiarity with batch processing, ISA-88, and ISA-95 standards.
