Contract Equipment Lead - US, North Carolina - 12 Months Initial Contract

With major capital investment experience driving various facility build projects. This is a unique opportunity for an Contract Equipment Lead  to join a global leader in the life sciences market and play a key role in shaping the future of advanced manufacturing.

What you’ll do:
  • Develop and execute procurement strategies for large-scale pharmaceutical CAPEX construction projects, ensuring contracts are structured to meet business objectives.
  • Support and oversee procurement, contracting, and delivery of major process equipment packages (e.g., bioreactors, autoclaves, skids, HVAC, clean utilities).
  • Coordinate FAT/SAT readiness and ensure supplier documentation aligns with CQV and operational readiness deliverables.
  • Monitor long-lead equipment schedules to ensure alignment with construction milestones. 
What you’ll need:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Procurement, Engineering, Construction Management, Supply Chain, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Extensive experience in CAPEX procurement, construction contracting, or EPCM contract management within large-scale capital projects.
  • Strong experience with construction contracts, supplier negotiations, and project execution in a regulated industry (pharmaceutical preferred).
  • Expertise in EPCM contracts, working with general contractors, subcontractors, and engineering firms to ensure seamless execution.
