Mechanical Engineer - Germany - Permanent Contract

With significant investments secured, this data centre group is entering their next phase of growth and are looking to bring on board a Mechanical Engineer.
What you'll do:
- Support in the management of the master planning of sites pre-acquisition, working closely with the site selection, leasing, and Development and Construction teams
- Be part of a close-knit team, effectively supporting the full life cycle projects, guiding the Senior Management around both internal and external resource management
- Assist in managing consultant teams in their delivery on behalf of the client, challenging the consultants to continually evolve and improve
- Support in contract review, negotiation, and execution, utilising knowledge of varying Design and Construction contract forms. Knowledge of VOB contracts would be an advantage
What you'll need:
- Previous experience in mechanical or building services engineering and project management
- Expertise in designing and delivering mechanical systems for data centres, including HVAC, cooling infrastructure (air-cooled, water-cooled, hybrid cooling), fire suppression systems, and air distribution networks such as AHUs and pressurised systems.
- Proficiency with MS Office
- Proficiency in relevant design software and tools, such as AutoCAD, Revit, and computational fluid dynamics (CFD) software
