Solutions Engineering Director - UK, London - Permanent Contract 

Our client, a developer of multi-customer and hyperscale data centres in Europe and Asia-Pacific, have an exciting opportunity for a Solutions Engineering Director to join their current project in London. They have a strong portfolio of constructing world-class critical infrastructure and are chosen time and again for their resilient power and colling, robust securing and sophisticated monitoring systems.

What you'll do:

• The role is for a Solutions Engineering Director focused on product development, involving management, pre-sales, and engineering functions.
• Review and maintain technical intelligence of customer requirements and local competitor facilities.
• Maintain a focus on sustainable design principles and opportunities to improve built environments and operational efficiencies.
• Provide technical assistance to sales teams in response to customer RfPs. 

What you'll need:

• Relevant Engineering Degree or acceptable Engineering Diploma Chartered or registered Professional Engineer by the relevant Governing Body, or demonstrably working towards registration Minimum
• Extensive experience in the design of power and cooling systems in a data centre setting along with the other general services
• Working knowledge of all critical systems equipment
• Experience of delivering designs in multiple geographic markets
