Vendor Management Assistant - US, North Carolina - Long Term Contract

Our client, a global pharmaceutical manufacturing organization are looking for a talented Vendor Management Assistant to join their expanding team. With continued organizational growth and considerable investment across their portfolio and capital programs this is an extremely exciting opportunity to contribute towards their brand-new manufacturing facility on the East Coast of the United States.

What you'll do:

• Work with startup, commissioning, qualification teams to understand needs for upcoming Vendor Services
• Assist with developing SOW’s, pursuing RFP’s, clarifying questions between Vendor and service requestors
• Assist with Vendor onboarding steps alongside Safety and Procurement counterparts
• Follow up on paperwork submittals, and send reminders to responsible parties when action is required

What you'll need:

• Proficient communicator, with ability to understand status of activities, quickly and effectively relay to other team members both written and verbally
• Extensive experience in construction management or similar assistant manager type role
• Extensive experience in pharmaceuticals, biotechnologies, biomedical or similar field
• Extensive experience with general procurement processes, such as RFPs, SOWs, PO’s and basic management of cost, scope, and schedule
